8.1 Overview
Customization allows you to add or remove packages, add SSH, SSL, or GPG keys, or even configure the Honeywall before it is burned to a CDROM. This is primarily used for advanced users and/or large organizations with distributed deployments that want to create pre-configured .iso images. The intent is you customize the image to your environment, ship it to its required location, then staff on site simply boot from the CDROM and it installs itself, already preconfigured and customized to your organization and environment. You can also use these features to add programs that the Honeynet Project does not support in the stock Roo ISO (e.g., netcat, your favorite text editor, even the full X11 package if you want to go crazy.)
