Description
The Andrew hybrid tee reflector is an extremely accurate
test instrument designed to measure return loss or VSWR in
waveguide systems. It incorporates a precision hybrid tee
junction (magic tee) that separates the incident and reflected
waves at the input of the system under test.
Directivity of the hybrid tee junction is the limiting factor
for measurement accuracy. Across standard frequency bands,
the Andrew hybrid tee provides the 60 dB minimum directivity
required for precision, low-VSWR measurement work.
The reflectonmeter includes two output detectors, and requires
the use of a signal generator for the RF source and an
oscilloscope to display return loss or VSWR. Although the
reflectometer is extremely accurate, overall accuracy of the
test setup depends on the suitability and quality of all
of the components.

The test port of the hybrid tee is matched for connection to the
following flange types:
U.S. Mil Std: UG-596A/U or UG-595/U
IEC: CBR220, UBR220 or PBR220
