6.4 Loosen gear hub screws. Move feed horn assembly away from reflector the distance needed to adjust to required focal distance of 60 inches. Evenly tighten gear hub set screws. Loosen collar set screws and adjust collar until it contacts gear hub. Securely tighten set screws. 7.0 Resolver Cable Installation 7.1 Refer to 7.1. Route supplied resolver cable |
through resolver access hole in enclosure. Secure cable
to enclosure using supplied grommet. Attach cable
connector to resolver. Loop resolver cable to resolver base
plate and attach using tie mount and wire strap.
Important: Cable must not interfere with waveguide
flange elbow. 7.2 Securely tighten enclosure wall and cover plate hardware. Replace red plug into enclosure adjustment access hole. |

8.0 Coaxial Cable Installation 8.1 Refer to Figure 8.1. Attach coaxial cable assemblies (supplied as part of ESA45( )-412) to existing coaxial cable assemblies protruding from feed system assembly duct. Wrap cable connectors with black plastic tape, and continue wrapping tape along length of cable sufficiently to ensure proper insulation of connection. |
